d&b audiotechnik Q1 2-Way 2x10" LF + 1.3" HF Line Array Speaker is part of the BernStage rental inventory, used for Q-Series line-array loudspeaker. It is delivered, set up and run by our own crew, from Istanbul to events across Turkey and Europe.
Where it fits
The d&b Q1 is a passive two-way line array with 2x10 inch drivers for mid-size concerts, conferences and theatre. It forms the main left and right hang, with Q-SUB subwoofers for low end and Q7 or Q10 cabinets as fills.
Setup
Cabinets hang from the Q flying frame on chain hoists, with splay angles planned in d&b ArrayCalc. D12 amplifiers drive the array with d&b loudspeaker setups, and our crew rigs and tunes the system.

Which amplifier does the Q1 need?+
It is passive and runs from our d&b D12 amplifier racks.
How is the Q1 different from the Q7 and Q10?+
The Q1 is an array element, while the Q7 and Q10 are single cabinets with fixed 75 x 40 and 110 x 40 degree coverage for fills.
Does a Q1 system need subwoofers?+
For music, yes: the Q-SUB adds low end and runs from the same D12 racks. Speech events often work without it.
