Rule of thumb: the pitch in millimetres is roughly the closest viewing distance in metres. Content and camera plans can change the choice.

Screen size and pixel pitch are chosen from viewing distance, stage size and content format.

Signal plan
Sources, processor, playback and live camera feeds are planned with a backup path.

Build and calibration
The wall is ground-stacked or flown from truss, then the processor is set up and colours are calibrated.
