Where it fits
The NovaStar VX-4S is an LED screen processor and switcher for conferences, concerts, launches and TV productions in halls, studios and on open-air stages. It takes the video sources, scales them to the wall's resolution and switches between them in the show.
Setup
It sits in the video rack at the control desk, takes inputs from the content and presentation notebooks, and sends signal over Ethernet to the receiving cards in the LED panels. Our LED technician sets the screen map and brightness and runs the switching in the show.

How does the VX-4S differ from the VX1000?+
The VX1000 handles up to 6.5 million pixels with more outputs, so it is chosen for larger walls, while the VX-4S fits small and mid-size screens.
Can we connect our own laptop?+
Yes, over HDMI. Our technician checks the resolution and signal before the show.
Can it switch between several sources?+
Yes, it switches between inputs such as the presentation and video computers, cutting from slides to video.
