Shure AD4D Axient Digital Wireless Receiver System
Shure · Wireless Systems
Shure AD4D Axient Digital Wireless Receiver System is part of the BernStage rental inventory, used for dual-channel Axient Digital wireless reception. It is delivered, set up and run by our own crew, from Istanbul to events across Turkey and Europe.
Where it fits
The Shure AD4D is a two-channel Axient Digital receiver for concerts, corporate events, theatre and broadcast where wireless mics must stay reliable. It is the centre of the wireless rig, passing transmitter audio to the console.
Setup
Receivers are racked at FOH, monitor world or side stage, fed by UA874 directional antennas through a UA844 splitter. Audio leaves on XLR, AES3 or Dante, and our RF technician scans and coordinates frequencies in Shure Wireless Workbench.

Questions
Which microphones work with the AD4D?+
It receives Axient Digital transmitters; in our inventory that is the AD2 handheld with a KSM8 capsule.
Can the AD4D connect to the console over Dante?+
Yes, it has Dante/AES67 outputs as well as XLR and AES3, so it joins a Dante network directly.
What if the venue has heavy RF traffic?+
The AD4D tunes across up to 184 MHz, which leaves room to find clean channels. We scan on site and plan frequencies before the show.
