Where it fits
The SSP Lighting LFS-2500Z is a 600 W LED follow spot, listed above 2500 HMI output, for concerts, award ceremonies, galas, theatre and TV shows in large halls and theatres. It keeps the lead performer or host lit as they move and lifts them out of the stage wash.
Setup
It stands at the back of the hall or on a balcony with a clear line of sight to the stage, powered from the distro. A follow spot operator from our crew runs it through the show on the lighting designer's cues.

Yes, it is aimed by hand, so a trained operator stays on it all show.
