Where it fits
The Lotus Chamaleon 1500 is an RGBW LED hybrid strobe and blinder with 185° tilt for concerts, festivals, DJ shows and TV productions, in halls and on open-air stages. It gives strobe hits, audience blinders and coloured washes from one fixture, and the tilt aims it at the stage, the crowd or the air.
Setup
It mounts on truss with clamps and safety cables or stands on the floor, taking DMX from the lighting console. It runs off the power distro, and our crew sets the tilt positions and programs it.

Questions
What is the difference between a blinder and a strobe?+
A blinder hits the audience with a bright burst at key moments, while a strobe fires short, fast flashes. The Chamaleon 1500 does both.
Does it only do white?+
No, it is RGBW, so strobes and blinder looks can also be coloured.
Why does the tilt matter?+
With 185° tilt programmed from the console, one fixture can light the audience, the stage or the air without re-hanging.
