For multinationals with Turkish subsidiaries, regional headquarters in Istanbul or factories across Anatolia, company anniversary event production in Turkey has its own shape. The evening usually opens with leadership speeches, a heritage film and long-service awards, often with executives flown in from global HQ, and then turns into a party with a live band or DJ in the same room. The technical plan has one main job: make that switch seamless. This guide is for HR and communications teams, and the agencies working with them, celebrating a 10th, 25th or 50th anniversary in Turkey.
What a company anniversary event needs
- Stage: a lectern and awards layout that converts to a band or DJ set-up.
- Sound: high speech intelligibility first, full-bodied music later.
- Lighting: camera-friendly front light for speeches and awards, moving lights for the party.
- LED screen: heritage film, archive photos, anniversary logo and live camera.
- Video and streaming: recording and a live feed to other offices.
- Show control: one desk running every cue from a single running order.
Venue choice
| Venue | Strength | Technical watch-outs |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel ballroom | Ready infrastructure, catering, rooms for guests | Ceiling height, rigging points, build hours |
| Factory or warehouse | Authentic setting that tells the company story | Power, dust, echo, site safety rules |
| Campus or garden | Close to employees, family-friendly | Roof stage, generator, weather plan |
| Club or event venue | Party atmosphere, existing stage | Capacity of in-house kit, top-up needs |
Celebrating on the factory floor sends a strong message, but power must be independent of production lines, forklift routes and machinery fenced off, and the layout approved with the site's health and safety team. High warehouse ceilings are reverberant, so speaker placement needs extra care. For ballroom specifics, see our hotel gala technical set-up guide.
A stage that changes character
Place the lectern and awards table to one side, and hide the band or DJ upstage behind a drape or LED wall until the party starts. Give award winners a wide ramp or stairs on both sides so the flow moves quickly, and size the deck for the largest group that will stand on it together, such as a whole department receiving a team award. Leave a dance floor in front of the stage and plan table layouts around it. Browse our stage rental Turkey options for decks and risers.
Sound and lighting in two modes
For speeches, intelligibility comes first: a lectern mic, a handheld for the host, headsets for presenters who walk the stage and a second handheld for award winners. For the party, subwoofers join the system and a separate, pre-built mix scene takes over. Lighting follows the same logic: warm, natural, camera-friendly front light while awards are handed out, so photographers catch every moment, then moving heads, colour washes and dance-floor effects, ideally in the company's brand colours, with a logo gobo at the entrance.
Heritage film, LED and livestream
The heritage film is usually the emotional centre of the night, and its impact depends on screen size and image quality. An upstage LED wall carries the film, slides, winners' photos and live camera. Archive images are often low resolution, so frame them within designed layouts rather than stretching them full screen. Our LED screen rental Turkey page covers sizes and pitches. If offices in other cities or countries want to join, plan at least two cameras, a vision mixer and a wired internet line; many companies stream speeches and awards only. With international guests, add simultaneous interpretation or bilingual hosting and subtitles on screen.
Working with HQ and international guests
When executives fly in from global headquarters, schedules get tight: they often land on the day itself and have little time to rehearse. Send them a short technical brief in advance covering stage entry, lectern position, slide clicker and confidence monitor, and book a fifteen-minute walk-through on stage before doors open. Agree the presentation format early, collect files on a single laptop and keep a backup copy on site. A bilingual Turkish-English host or on-screen captions keep the whole workforce included, and the welcome area benefits from its own small sound system and a photo wall lit with soft front light, so guests' first impressions are as polished as the main show.
Running order
- Welcome: background music, logo gobo, photo wall.
- Opening: lights down, heritage film.
- Speeches: short and timed.
- Awards: photo and music sting for each winner.
- Dinner: background music, archive slideshow.
- Party: band or DJ, dance floor opens, lighting changes character.
Turn this into a timed run of show shared by sound, lighting and video operators, and rehearse speakers and the awards sequence on stage. Our corporate event production guide covers the wider framework.
Family days and outdoor celebrations
Some companies celebrate with employees' families in a daytime family day that runs into an evening concert. Outdoors that means a roof stage, generators, shade and a rain plan, with cables covered and towers barriered where children play. We dispatch from Istanbul to all 81 provinces of Turkey, so plants and offices outside the big cities are covered; see our nationwide stage rental guide, or our event production Turkey page for the full service. Share your date, venue and guest count through the quote form and we will plan stage, sound, lighting and LED as one package.
